Joseph Stalin and Totalitarianism

Joseph Stalin was born on December 21, 1879 his original name was Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili, later on he adapted the name Stalin which mean't Man Of Steel. Before Stalin took over the Soviet Union he was a secretary general of the Communist Party in 1922.

Totalitarianism is a state that regulates every public and private behavior. Joseph Stalin took over the Soviet Union at 1924 because of the death of Vladimir Lenin.

Joseph Stalin was in charge of the Police during the peak of the Cold War. During Joseph Stalin's time he forced collectivisation on agriculture which cost millions of lives.

The Great Purge related to several campaigns such as the political repression, and the persecution in the Soviet Union which was lead by Joseph Stalin during the 1930's.
